We were pleased to support Stephen Piddington, of Longbow Design, in his recent fundraising event for the charity, Animals Asia. Stephen has worked with us for many years, providing graphic design, web design and marketing services.
The goal was to make the ascent to the 1085m summit of Mount Snowdon. Stephen tells us that the trek was successful and blessed by good weather, although there was thick cloud and 50mph wind at the summit itself. The fundraiser is an annual event but this year was notable for being the fastest ascent yet by the charity’s teams, taking 3 hours. The event raised over £10,000 for the charity, which campaigns against animal cruelty and, in particular, the bear bile trade. Supporters of the charity NOWZAD, which delivers animal welfare in Afghanistan and Ukraine, were also in the team.
